Come race BMX

The warm weather is finally here and that means BMX season has officially begun. So dust off your bikes and head out to the track in Cumberland to check out BMX action this Saturday. Registration begins at 2:00pm and racing starts at 3:00 pm. Anyone can try out this sport by purchasing a one day membership for $7.00. Racers need to wear a helmet and long pants with a long sleeve shirt.

Spectators are always welcome, and coming out to watch this new Olympic sport is a great way to see if you might be interested in trying it out. The BMX season runs spring through fall and riders can race in as many races as they like at Coal Hills or at other ABA tracks within the province. For further information check out the newly created website at: www.coalhillsbmx.com or call: Margaret Mudge at: 336-8490
